HackDFW is hosting the Second Annual Proof of Hack at UT Dallas Makerspace November 10-11, 2018. 

HackDFW Proof of Hack is 24 hours for you to learn, create, and make. For the whole weekend, students will make innovative projects focused on blockchain and cryptographic technology with help from cryptocurrency sponsors.

  • Anyone 18+ who is registered on-site is able to attend.

Requirements

  1. Your submission must have a title, description, image, and all team members associated to the project in order to be eligible.

Best Use of a MouseXplore

Integrate the block explorer from MouseBelt or an equivalent tool into an application. Using the address balance/history, transaction or block APIs, find a way to use rich data across blockchain in a product. Additional submit signed transaction APIs can be made available if necessary. The best or most innovative use of this wins a $250 cash prize. 2 follow ups win $50.

    Potential impact of proposed solution.
  • Customer Validation
    Has the team demonstrated that they are making something end users need and will use?
  • Demonstration
    Is the team able to demonstrate a functional solution? Is the demo working in a representative test environment?
  • Viability
    Viability of bringing solution to market. How clearly does the team articulate the path forward? How well are the risks scoped?
